My journey with Bowen Therapy began over 15 years ago when I was looking for help in overcoming my own health issues of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and struggling with injuries from a serious car accident. Bowen made a huge impact on my life and helped me more than I could have imagined. I felt a deep calling to pursue this amazing healing modality and turn it into a fulfilling career.
I have studied with and gained full certification through the Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia back in 2007, furthering my studies to Specialized Bowen Procedures, Mother Baby Bowen, and Mind Body Bowen. I also worked in Vancouver’s first Bowen Therapy clinic for the beginning 4 years of my career, having the privilege of working alongside my instructor and running the Bowen Canada Registry.
The truth is, I live and breathe Bowen Therapy; it is my love, my passion and my calling. Everyday I feel blessed to share this great therapy with the world, remaining fully committed to what has not only changed my life for the better, but so many others who have allowed me to be a part of their journeys towards wellness.
One of the most valuable aspects of healing is holding the space for people to feel heard and cared for. It is an honour helping to make a positive impact in peoples lives. I am able to help my clients be pain free, have more freedom of movement and better quality of life. My intention is to fully support and care for those along the way, from physical ailments to emotional stress. Bowen Therapy can have the power to help on all levels!
I have a special interest in assisting those with more complex cases such as post concussion syndrome, fibromyalgia and auto-immune disorders where I can utilize an extensive repertoire of procedures and knowledge to allow recovery in the most gentle and holistic way possible.
When I am not at the clinic I love to spend time with my family. I am a new mom and being with my daughter fills me with a happiness beyond words. I also enjoy writing songs and singing, dancing, making jewelry, practicing yoga and being in nature.
