Are you one of the many suffering from seasonal allergies?

Are you constantly increasing your dosage of antihistamines?

This has been a long winter in the lower mainland, and we can’t wait for the spring. Many of us are anticipating seasonal allergies to begin hitting us in late March and early April. To help you be proactive and preventative, we would like to share with you a therapy we use at Brio Integrative Health Centre.
We are the first clinic in western Canada to bring in the RJ Laser Light Needle.  This technology uses photo therapy to improve the micro-circulation in the sinuses, thus alleviating symptoms of runny nose, congestion and itchy eyes.

How does Photobiomodulation work?

We have all seen sunlight stimulating plant growth through photosynthesis.  In a very similar process, the light from the RJ Laser energizes our cells and the water in our body.
By energizing the water molecules and charging up our cells, the healing potential of our body is significantly increased.  Photobiomodulation has no side effects and is well tolerated by everyone….even kids!

What can I expect from a treatment?

A typical treatment is 15 to 20 minutes.  Patients are seated or lying down. A small light apparatus is inserted into the mouth.  Depending on the severity of your seasonal allergies, we typically recommend 3 to 6 treatments.  There is no pain with this treatment.
